Nethack, anyone still play?

Just decided to ask, does anyone here play nethack?

 

Nethack is a dungeon crawling rpg game, with great gameplay and lots of humor thrown in! Even though the graphics are very basic, that does not impede on the entertainment in the slightest.

 

If anyone does play Nethack, any stories you have to tell about it?

Not anymore, last time I played was 3 yrs ago or so. I tried to win as a wizard but I got killed by an angel before I could sacrifice the amulet (yes, on the astral plane, it was sad). Only time I've won was with a samurai over 10yrs ago.

 

Most of my stories are mistake ones, like zapping a shopkeep at a low level, kicking a cockatrice corpse barefoot, typing too fast and running into something dangerous and dying or letting my mount eat my last food and so on.
