Leedler1 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I'm going to say that I have around probably 50 mods, atleast. I'm saying this incase it means anything.Earlier today, my game was working fine. I was wanting to start a mage playthrough, so I downloaded some magic mods- Apocalypse, Forgotten Magic, Empowered Magic, and Lost Grimoire. I had also downloaded Ordinator. To my knowledge, these mods were compatible. I tried to start a new game, [because from what I heard that's how you test if mods work], and my game crashed 5 seconds into the loading screen. [A freeze, not CTD, if it means anything] I tried this a few more times incase if it was a one-time thing, but every time I tried, and with different saves aswell, it would always crash. I tried LOOT, which has worked for me before, but didn't this time. I ended up disabling the mods but that didn't help - my game is now continuously crashing in the loading screen. I'm afraid that I might have severely screwed up my Skyrim somehow and will need to redownload everything. Can someone please help?
Guest Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 After disabling mods, does it crash on the new game too? If it does, that means some of your mods overwrote very important game file(s). I would suggest you to uninstall them completely, and run a LOOT and FNIS. It will also be good if you can check your game for errors using tes5 edit. Once you get back to normal loading, you can try to install mods one by one until you find problematic mod. When find it, get rid of it.

I uninstalled the mods completely and ran both LOOT and FNIS, but it didn't work. I've never used TES5 Edit before, do I have to go through every mod or does it some what files conflict?
