Can't Update Sexlab 1.59

This is frustrating the hell out of me.

I've followed every direction for updating 1.59 to version 6 + patch, and I can't tell if it's updated, or what.

FNIS tells me that Sexlab 1.6 is installed when I update FNIS, so I have the right version in my data folder. But what I DON'T understand is why the version number in the MCM menu ingame won't change. In the MCM menu, I click the install/reinstall button and when it finishes, it says 'Sexlab 1.59 installed". WTF!? What am I doing wrong? FNIS says I have the right version in my data folder, but the MCM menu still says 1.59. I'm so confused.

I've reinstalled this stuff at least five times now.

Here is everything I did, step by step:

1. Installed new versions of SKSE, FNIS, FNIS Creature Pack, and Sexlab (in that specific order)
2. Opened up FNIS Users version and updated FNIS; Sexlab 1.6 is being read, apparently

3. Installed Sexlab Creature Animations pack for 1.6

4. Installed new version (9.3) of More Nasty Critters

5. Opened up FNIS again, and updated it

6. Reset animation/voice/expressions regestries

7. Clicked Update/Reinstall button in Sexlab's MCM menu

8. Closed menus and waited

9. "Sexlab 1.59 installed" flashes on top left of screen

10. Laid head down on desk and sighed

You probably do have 1.6 installed ok, but the MCM can get a bit confused sometimes and continue to display the previous version number if you've simply disabled and not completely removed an earlier version (not just with SL Framework, it  sometimes happens with other mods too) best way to avoid it is to make sure the mod that's not updating the version in MCM is completely deleted.

If that still won't make the menu update, go ingame after uninstalling the old version and before you install the new one, save and quit, then install the new version (with some mods this is a last resort as you'll reset any quests they may have).

Damn. Okay. Sexlab seems to be working fine, so i'm not going to touch anything and risk breaking all my saves.

Thanks for the help.
