galaxy5000 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 When my creature goes ragdoll arrows and items still clip through the model except for the root body shape. I feel like it's something in the Havok file. Also is there any way to make collision capsules visible in game? I'm using 3dsmax 2011 with Havok plugin 2010 and Nifskope 2.0 pre-alpha. Any help or suggestions would be great. I'm almost done with this creature. I just need to get the collision fixed, and do the animations. I wouldn't be this far without this forum. here is a pic, I removed all collision from the legs till I get the others working.
galaxy5000 Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 I pretty much got it figured out. It had to do with constraints in Nifskope and axis directions on my rigid bodies in 3DS. Now my rigid bodies react to the ground and objects properly. The only thing now is when the corpse is hit with an arrow. The arrow only sticks to the joint and not to where it was hit on the body part. I'm just gonna push ahead and never make a creature from scratch again. It took me several months to get to this point. I'm only replacing meshes and textures from now on.
