Guest Seraphymne Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Hi there. I've found these great bikini mods by Nisetanaka but I want them as a replacer. I tried and failed badly in Creation kit and had to reinstall Skyrim... Is there anyone who has any tutorials or might be able to help on making replacers out of standalone mods? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69631/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72028/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70376/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69803/?
vash512 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 My friend, I was also looking for the same, but still found nothing. I really love these suits and in a moment of despair I read manuals and tutorials, no I'm modder but with some work and patience got the following results with iron armor, hope help and to continue with the others, I I will, but with more time. iron.rar password: phyrox 1. First of all, I use a mod to reshape the armor in the game, so it is not necessary one to mess with Creation Kit. 2. You will need the program: NifSkope (Google it) 3. Read the following tutorials: http://barom777.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-27.html (google translator) It teaches how to add parts to the main body, main attention to how correct the "failed to map parent link" common mistake. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/576983-tutorial-assign-meshes-to-new-body-parts/ This able of putting all the pieces in the same slot, so that the game is not an invisible. have the enthusiasm and wanting to get share I could not make a ilustarado tutorial. nisetanaka all the credit for these wonderful mods, I just kept tutorials P.D. I use google translator for my English.
IceT_1980 Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 You can replace an armor on two ways: replace the path of the mesh in the Creation Kit in the "Armor AddOn" Section OR you replace the specific *.nif file of the armor, you find them in data/meshes/armor/... . If u don't have it u need first to extract the file "Skyrim - Meshes.bsa" in your data folder. To extract this file u need this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/247/? This file is very huge, so extract only what u need! Be sure u use the ORIGINAL GAME PATHS! All meshes have to be in data\meshes, and if u want to use them as a replacer, u also have to use the original file names!
