friendrg Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Hello everyone, I'm here to make a request I was wondering if someone could import a model to skyrim for me from the .max format... I've been looking for a mod like this for thousand years, and yes, I tried to learn it in so many ways... but it is impossible to me. The idea is very simple, put this model in the Giant's skeleton and resize him.. ' u' Unfortunately, I don't even know how to export a .max file to .obj with the textures... :[ • Here, a preview of the model on 3dsMax 2009 (in 2012 looks so different and I don't know how) Well.. that's it...sorry for the english, isn't my first language. PM me or just write here, everything helps.
Meleeh Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 http://www.greentoken.de/onlineconv/ http://www.imageconv.com/ Found these tools with a google search, maybe they'll help? If not, I really don't know how to help. You would probably have to figure out how to export the meshes into Skyrim then add the textures separately. I love SoTC and would like to see this happen.
friendrg Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 I'll try this, thanks m8 If I could change the format with all the alpha textures it would be easier to construct the model, I need only the Giant Skeleton and some training with the creation kit and niftools No one came here to give a look, strange, I thought that I wasn't the only one who liked sotc content... well.. But thank you... someday you shall see Gaius walking into the mountains
KikiDelivery Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I don't recommend exporting your max file into an obj, I read its not a convenient method. If you have the niftools plugin, you can export directly as a nif file. Textures are applied in nifskope itself you'll just have to do a few edits in nifskope to get it working right. Alpha textures are saved in the dds file of your diffuse texture.
