YuanTiki Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Encountered an odd bug recently and I'm not entirely sure where it's coming from or if there's a way to deal with it. It seems to be baked into my character's saves (not 100% sure), but it could well have been caused by a mod in the first place rather than just yet another bug from the main game, especially as I can't seem to find any mention of anyone else encountering it.Long story short, TTW and a whole bunch of mods. Trying to get the Wasteland Guide mission turned in where you have to injure yourself to below 50% health with a couple of crippled limbs, except entering megaton heals me. Basically instantly, and condition and health regenerate the same way periodically whilst there as well. On further examination, it seems to happen anywhere and persists when loading older saves, despite me not noticing any such bug at that point. Tried loading a previous character's save and the bug didn't make itself immediately know, for what it's worth. So, anyone encountered anything like this? Any clues what could actually be happening to cause it? Any possible solution short of abandoning the save and starting again hoping for the best or simply living with it? EDIT - Further examination has revealed at least one save old enough to not show the glitch with the same character. Does suggest it's caused by a mod, maybe one installed since then but that doesn't really narrow it down much.
Guest Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 It won't probably be your case, as you said it will probably a conflict... However... I think it deserves at least to mention this.
YuanTiki Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 The character in question has that perk, but wasn't irradiated so it shouldn't have been doing anything like that. But then, it's definitely not innate to the load order because early enough saves and the new character I started don't have the bug. So, who knows? A bug caused by one or more of the mods installed interacting or something? I'm none the wiser.
