Guest Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I think when I take a screen shots it's in kilobytes But I love it when my porn images are a solid One MegaByte- so how do I change the settings to have all my screen shots from here on out 1mb when I go for a shoot? ????
Champis Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Sounds as if you're using Skyrim native SS ability(lossy) If you install an ENB and or SMAA, you can take high resolution lossless BMPs. The other thing you can do is change your ballowscreenshot=1 in Skyrim.ini. This will take 2 screenshots per hit. One will be lossy jpeg, the other a higher quality lossless(PNG) I believe. ENBs will allow the highest quality SS overall. @1920x1200 w ENB, each SS is 9mb. 14-15mb @ 2560x1440. ENB will only take SS in BMP format, which is different from what the vanilla game allows.

If you have a unregistered version, I'll take screenshots only in BMP, but you can use any other program to convert to jpg or png (MS Paint can do that). Do not use Steam for screenshots, its compressing method is overkill. ENB isn't very reliable also, it can mess with the brightness/gamma depending on the preset you are using.
