soljer13 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 So I install a mod, any mod that comes with a wizard via NMM. I then Uninstall it, and then for whatever reasons, I try to install the same mod again. Nexus Mod Manager refuses to bring up the wizard. It instead just dumps random mod files into my Data Folder. How do I fix this? PS: Please do not suggest Mod Organizer. Me and that program do not get along.PSS: if it matters. Its Mature Skin pack. I uninstalled it to reinstall it without pubes and the NMM client is giving me shit.
Guest Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 NMM 0.61.+ (I guess you have it) have problems with proper installation/uninstallation of certain textures and meshes mods. 1. When you uninstall such type of mod, go to your Skyrim/Data, find mod's leftovers and remove them manually. 2. Go to My Documents/Nexus mod manager and delete trace log files (see the picture) 3. Then try to install your mod again. If this is not working, after unistallling the mod and mod's leftovers, go to your NMM mod manager Virtuallinstall folder and delete that mod. Afterwards, on the first run of NMM, the manager will report some kind off "mod missing" error and will suggest you to fix it. Reject it. Then try to install it once again. When you succeed to install your mod again, do backup so if something similar happens again, you can always restore your mods to previous state. You can find a tip of how to make a backup on my OP in my thread written in my signature.
