I believe so as there are in the mods NPCs wearing items and there also mechanics being used in the mod that require DD. If you don't like that kind of stuff then try SL Submit/ Defeat instead of SD+ which have the same idea of losing in combat mean you don't die but get raped. If they also require Devious Devices then you could just download DD anyway and disable each device in the MCM menu (in the tabs you can reduce the change or items being equipped on you or disable them all together).
