Problem with darkbrotherhood questline

Hi guys, I'm currently having issues with the quests 'To Kill an Empire ' at the stage where I'm needed to return the sanctuary that is under attack. After killing the guards and escaping solitude, I fast travelled to Falkreath and walked to the sanctuary only to find a single guard and festus dead on the tree. When I enter the sanctuary all members are inside and alive and seem to be waiting for me to kill the emperor.

 

At the same time, the quest from Nazir 'Kill Agnis' doesn't acknowledge me killing her, leaving me the quest uncompleted and no one to kill.

 

I've tried reloading from an earlier save and still face the same problems though I suspect it's because of me playing the custom race Ashen. I would try showracemenu cheat though it seems that once I do that, it will change some of my skill levels and total my points spend in magicka, health and stamina and divide it equally.

 

e.g. 100 magicka, 100 health, 200 stamina = 133 magicka, 133 health, 133 stamina.

 

So what I ask is; is there a workaround this issue? Thanks in advance for any help given.
