terrorofmorrowind Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I recently was playing mount and blade warband viking conquest and i was wondering if it was even possible to convert their brf files to the hkx files skyrim uses. I don't know if this is leagl either because it directly uses another games components. I really wash i was capable at animting because these attack and defend animations are much better than anithing i have ever seen in any game. They aren't so clunky as skyrim ones and because i simply want them to overwrite shield animations when blocking i wouldn't need so many animations either. i'm quite surprised nobody else thought of this before.

I don't think it's that simple. Skyrim uses a whole different skeleton system and animations would most likely be broken if ported.

I thought because the animations were fairly simple they could have somehow been put into the game. I am aare that they have a completely different file structure too. I thought maybe we could salvage some parts and recreate the rest. Damn, there used to be a mod for Oblivion that sort of used m&b's controls system. I thought maye there was one for skyrim as well.
