Some animations not working in SL.

A lot of the animations added in the newest version of sexlab 1.60 hotfix 2, and in NSAP just result in my character+the npc standing inside each other, I've installed the mods exactly as Ashal says to as well as NSAP, as well as reinstalling skyrim and all the mods. I've ran FNIS and it doesn't say there are any errors, I know it's not a mod conflict since i've tried with just SL and NSAP on their own with FNIS and skyui. However SL does install fine when I start a new game but it does have the '?' symbol next to the 'FNIS Character Idles' as well as the 'FNIS Creature Idles' before installing, I don't know how to fix this as i have tried three times now, reinstalling FNIS + Skyrim and SL.

Did you run "generate FNIS for users" after installing the mods?

Did you try to "reset animation registry" in SexLab in game-menu?

Do you have a body-mod and skelleton-mod installed?

Yes to all of them.

Do you run MOD ORGANISER as your mod-tool? You should run it as an administrator too. you could try in built LOOT.

Yep, I do. My load order is done by LOOT and it is ran as admin already. :(

OK, figured out the problem.

So if you just install SexLab through MO - it won't work because FNIS can't do it's magic for SexLab when you run the command. You need to install SexLab via the copy and paste method in the Skyrim directory, and THEN add it into MO and activate it (for other mods to see the dependencies and so on. When I tred logging into Skyrim and viewing the SexLab mod info, it had a bunch of $SSL variables all over the place! They went away after installing via MO after). This seems to have given me the animations. And it looks to be OK.

Maybe this little tidbit could be added at the top of the instruction list, so it is a bit more clear, if this is indeed the case (ie: You MUST copy, not use MO/NMM, these files to the Data directory....w/e).

Old Post:

I'm having this same issue - they just stand in the same spot. Additionally, I had the same issue with SL not installing and the game having to install from within Skyrim on the mod window but this apparently is normal according to the install instructions :)

One thing I noticed in NSAP is when I register the animations it usually says like 110/375. And there are only 80 unique NSAP animations?

I also have Zaz animations installed. But I am not sure how that works or interacts with SL just yet. I'll try running MO as an admin.

Here is what FNIS gives me when I do the generate:

FNIS Behavior V6.2   12/12/2015 10:45:03 PM
Skyrim: 1.9.32.0 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam)

Skeleton(hkx) female: Default (99 bones)   male: Default (99 bones)
Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix"

Reading FNISBase V6.2 ...
Reading FNISCreatureVersion V6.1 ...
Reading FNISSpells V5.0.1  ( 0 furniture, 0 offset, 9 paired, 0 kill, 0 chair, 0 alternate animations) ...

All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files ...
0_master usage: 3.8 %   ( 9 paired, 0 kill, 0 alternate animations)
Alternate Animation mods: 0 sets: 0 total groups: 0 added file slots: 0 alternate files: 0

Create Creature Behaviors ...

141 animations for 3 mods successfully included (character)

Thanks, you solved most of the problem, but it turns out that NSAP generates an additional json after installing through mcm and enabling the animations that i had to move from my MO overwrite folder into my skse directory in /Data/. fixed now, thanks for the help.

Welcome welcome

Can you explain what you said a bit more not sure I understand it completely. The json is generated via in-game and placed into a certain MO directory, but you need to have this copied in the /Data directory like the SL installation? TY

your doing it wrong you do not copy anything but skse, enb files, performance monitor in your original folder looking at your fnis its not generating anything from sexlab or zap. Install sexlab thro mod organizer. add fnis as executable in MO run thro mod organizer click overwrite choose create mod name it something like "FNIS output" last things in your load order should be

-bash patch

-(patchus maximus output, Skyre output if you use any of those)

-DSR Output (dual sheath redux patch output)

-FNIS Output (fnis patch output)

all this stuff you find in overwrite and create a mod out of it to keep overwrite clean
