lambient1988 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Is there a mod that can help me ShowRaceMenu the NPCs from within the game?
Bindair Dundat Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 I have seen a mod that gives the Player a spell that allows them to "transfer" between bodies and play as those NPC. And there, the ShowRaceMenu shows the NPC, which will look how you edited it even after you "leave" the body and go back to your own. Anything easier is through the Creation Kit.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Alternate Actor? Don't bother. It was a nice concept, but the mod author dropped the project a long time ago. It's very unstable. Always crashed when I tried to transfer to another body. The only edit NPCs in game is Fallout 4. Pretty sure that will be included in TES6. Either a mod will have to come out that does that, or you'll have to do it in CK, or Skyrim NPC Editor. Unless there is some other utility out there to edit NPCs, those are the only two ways I know of other than just creating a preset and using the exports to slap it on a NPC.
Dreamweaver Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 You can edit followers if you use EFF. Mainly the feature is designed for applying tattoos to them, and not all of the categories you get for the player will be available, but you can change some physical features.

I don't want to use Creation Kit. And Skyrim NPC Editor doesn't show up with the custom textures. Or does it?
