ok Im probably not the only one that saw this idle on Nexus' date=' but what I can't seem to find is this variation of silverlight that they used in the pic. Anyone know where to get it?

No Im afraid it isn't that, but after some digging I did find this:

 

@sharkh--"My character is wearing the Silverlight Armor with Osare KneeSocks -for UNP but I removed the Lower parts of the base armor and replaced with a lower part of an armor i found at an asian mod site I think its name is lady bat by (wjun not sure) and i tweaked DIMONIZED Slim body a bit with 3ds , so I am sorry but i don't have permission to share."

 

However, if anyone happens to know if there is a place to DL it please let me know otherwise I will try to merge those two mods myself for CBBE3 and then share it here. Anyone know where to get "lady Bat" that they mentioned?

 

I decided to move this here as a more appropriate place to work on it.

 

OK so I was able to get most of the parts to fit on a CBBE body. But for the life of me I can't get the Kneesocks to work. Shame too because they really make the ensemble imo. Anybody wanna take a shot at it? I'd be greatful

wish i could help but my mod skill end at "remove block" with meshes and "decolor" with textures :P

 

but please be so kind and share whatever you're able to come up with in the end! :D

Ok so I gave it my best shot today for about 6 hours or so. Got everything to line up in Blender finally more or less. Was able to get everything set right in nifskope. Made sure to keep the texture mapping the way it was. Had a little trouble importing the skeleton for some reason. Not sure if offset my mesh. I saved all the parts to have a go at it again tomorrow. Long Story short - it crashed the game lol

 

So I just posted a pic of the mesh so far, Not sure how it will look in game yet, and Im not even gonna start on textures till I get that far.

Alright gang here is what I was able to finish today. Let me know what you think. I call it Sharkh Armor after the modder on Nexus who first pieced this style together to model his castanistic Idle mod. I also created a plugin and set it as Light armor with Daedric equivalent stats and quicksilver as the ingot for crafting. Tomorrow I will tackle the textures and make it dark to match the undies.

I call it Sharkh Armor after the modder on Nexus who first pieced this style together to model his castanistic Idle mod. I also created a plugin and set it as Light armor with Daedric equivalent stats and quicksilver as the ingot for crafting. Tomorrow I will tackle the textures and make it dark to match the undies.

after you get done with the armor

how about a alt version with only

the wjun hip with no body, no armor

 

kinda like a accessory so it could be used

with any armor and any body type

I'm not sure that it works that way actually. Maybe there is a belly chain mod out there I could reference but I think even those still use body mods. Maybe if it was listed as jewelry, But even then there would be no way to make it fit every mod. There would be some places it would clip and others where it might not even come close to the skin. If you have any other ideas on how to make it work though Im all ears.

 

Now, On to Textures!

How in the world did you get the UNP kneesocks to fit so perfectly?!!?

I have been trying for a WEEK to make a cbbe version of JUST the socks, with very little success (I wanted the white and stripey ones). It has been a trial like you wouldn't believe!!! I just ended up shrink-wrapping them in blender... but you lose a LOT of the cool folds/wrinkles in the socks. How did you do it?

looking really good! btw i just saw your "Snow white" pic over at nexus, i guess it's a remodel of Sexier Samurai Ebony Armor.. did you, would you share it with us? pretty please?

As for the snow white pic. I would love to except that was a retexture I don't think I saved. However, its really easy to do. Just open the main texture in gimp and invert the colors. That pic was actually taken shortly before I created the sexier samurai armor. So it still has the shoulder pads and none of the transparency. Let me know if you have trouble with the textures.

it seems your files on nexus got moderated. Can u upload it elsewhere?

 

I got a conclusive reply from jojjo not to take it down. He is trying to appeal to the moderators so they know everythings cool and will unblock the file. Sorry to keep yall in suspense.
