Child sized Female npc's

So I just recently downloaded skyrim through steam. And almost every female npc is the size of a child, even my character, There are only a few races that are not, which is one of the custom ones I downloaded.

I also recently downloaded some mods so im sure one of them is causing it, but they're just a couple of race mods, and a body replacer. Has anyone else had this kind of problem? And if so, how do you fix it haha

There are a few different ways to end up with child size races, but I'll start with the most obvious and easily dealt with reasons. Hopefully it's one of these.

 

One of the race mods you downloaded may have come with a custom skeleton for females, "skeleton_female.nif" in this folder: \skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female\.

 

If you find that file in that location, try moving it to your desktop temporarily to see what happens in-game.

 

If that doesn't work try moving the female body meshes from \skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\, specifically "femalebody_0.nif" and "femalebody_1.nif" to see if it's the body mod (or just deactivate the mod ).

 

But my guess is that it's probably the skeleton mentioned above.

 

However, if it's none of those then things get a little more complicated. Check back in and we'll go there if we have to.

Yea.. it didnt work, im just going to reinstall the game xD
