I demand an explanation! (UUNP question)

Please :P

So, I recently got out of my cave, and just saw all the wonderful stuff that happened around here since I've been missing, like a working vagina, the great wall of china and UUNP. My question is: what is exactly UUNP and what is so "special" about it?  I remember I could already use bodyslide with my UNP bodies, so what's the difference?

Well, first off you couldn't use Bodyslide with UNP - it only worked for CBBE. UUNP stands for Unified UNP, and by converting an outfit to it, it can then be output to a ton of presets to match other UNP types like UNPB, 7B, etc. Its base shape is also conformed to CBBE's shape, which means you can easily take any CBBE Bodyslide project and just swap out its reference shape for UUNP, copy over weights and sliders, and have yourself a working UUNP version.

Apart from when you could.

I'd add that the real knockout punch with the BS UUNP package is it's integration with XPMSE and Race Menu. If you build your armors to the zeroed slider reference shape and include the tri morph string,  you can mix and match any armor that supports it without it clipping to buggery (so potentially endless mashup possibilities), morph it into any of the included UNP presets, maybe add the odd CBBE slider to the mix, and you can do it all on the fly in-game.

That's what's special.
