Companions stop moving after sex

This has actually been a long occurring problem for me that has happened for years and years and years but I've never bothered to find a more permanent solution for it other than "reload to old enough save that it doesn't happen." But basically I find that my companions will interact with other people for sex normally, e.g. Powder Gangers or NCR in Tryout, and everything will be good and then after a while they'll have sex with someone and then they will just stop walking anywhere. Will never follow me when I walk someplace but will appear next to me after a fast travel or the entering of a new cell. Is this even preventable? Or was my previous method just the only method?

I've been having the exact same problem, and I have no idea what is causing it. I have a bunch of similar Sexout mods installed, and I'm fairly certain it's one of them that messes things up. I would hate to just start pulling mods out and break my save...

It's a known issue in FO and there is not really a 'fix' for it to prevent it.

 

Best you can do in case this happens is either reload a previous save or target the actor in console and type 'resurrect 1" (without the quotes ofc)

I just about gave up on my save cause I really wanted to check out some custom companion mods, but they were freezing up. Didn't realize a simple console command would fix it! I appreciated your help!

Nope, never mind. I just tried it and it doesn't do anything. Stays standing in place
