Loading custom texture

Hey all

Im trying to load up a custom texture, more precisely, I just made some parts transparent.

Now im using 7base vanilla armor replacer. Means -> Custom mesh.

And for that mesh I try to edit texture. In nifscope I added NiAlphaproperty to the armor part.
Thing is, there is no custom texture, its using vanilla. So I extracted it from the .bsa file and edited it.

Now im unsure how to proceed correctly. I placed it within skyrim folder (data/Textures/blabla) and checked in nifscope the texture path.

Should work. In nifscope it shows me the edited texture, but in skyrim nothing changed.
I also tried to add another texture path on mod manager (7basereplacermod/textures/blabla) and change the texture path to that location.

Still nothing ingame. Just to be sure I deleted some mesh via nifscope to see if it works ingame and it does.

I kinda believe its still using the texture within the vanilla .bsa file.

The NiAlphaproperty/texture should work, otherwise I'd get errors ingame (shining texture etc)
Im new to this stuff but I managed to edit other armors, but they had custom textures so I could edit them straight away.

Am I missing something here?
