Reseting the UI

Somehow my UI got fucked up and I don't know how to reset it to the default state. Anybody know what to do?

For what game ?? New vegas or fallout 3 ?? Are you using darnUI ?? if so there is an easy fix.

 

go to mygames\FalloutNV and double click on fallout.ini

 

hit ctrl + f and type fonts

for new vegas this is very irritating since if you use regular loading through steam they will always revert this default making you lose your UI settings.

That seemed to fix it.

After further testing, a problem that I've had before is still there. There are parts of my screen that are blurry in the game. Not the whole screen, but a small area. If an NPC is in that area on the screen, they become blurry.

 

I'm using New Vegas for the record.

check your display setting. maybe you made it to blur out when viewing from distance.

 

LOD fade or something like that.

I don't think that's it. It's just this random spot on my screen whenever I play that is blurred

Are you sure your monitor is clean ?? i am sorry i have no idea what your problem could be, since i never seen this problem reported or ever seen anything like this..

The monitor is fine. I tried to take a screenshot of the blur, but when I looked at the screenshot the blur wasn't there.
