Im totally lost...

 

I have modded Skyrim before, but the female form eludes me!

 

I have CBBE installed, custom body made etc..

 

I also have the HDT phscis etc for nice bounce and jiggles, all works well.  Naked. 

 

If I try to use clothes/armors, the body goes all flat and vanilla and the boobs and ass dont bounce.

 

So, I have figured out that I need to use the 'Outfit studio' that comes with the 'Calientes' bodyslider to update armor to work with my specific body.

 

 

1) Are there any good video tutorials (or otherwise) available.  I found a few on Youtube but they dont fully explain all the steps.

 

2) Also, Im having problems locating the armor/outfit files (meshes I think they are called) in Outfit studio.  I can seem to browse all the vanilla clothes and armors in the file system, but I cant seem to find all the armor/outfits  I have actually downloaded that need customized?  Would they be stored else where and are they referenced by name as I did search the entire Skyrim folder by name for some and nothing came up.

 

3) Then, when I do lets say get them finally customed, how do I load the updated versions up in the actual Skyrim game?

look in the *.rar/*.zip files of the mod where the meshes in your skyrim\data\meshes folder are installed.

Then open your outfit with Outfitstudio and delete the body in there (rightclick),then load as Referenz your body and duplicate it (rightclick).

Then go to bonesmenu and select by pressing "strg" left and right breastbone and choose in the shapemenu "copy selected weights".

Then export the body with the outfit and overwrite the orginal.

You said clothes/ armor make you go back to vanilla so im gonna take a guess here and say you haven't downloaded any armor mods for CBBE? If not here's a starting CBBE armor mod for you. See if this fixes it.

I have got as far as loading the armor into the bodyslide outfit studio and have got it customised for my new CBBE body.

 

However, where Im stuck is to how I actually export or save this and then load it 'in game'?

 

I saved the 'project file' however in game, the armor was still flat chested.

 

It seems to me that the armor and clothes in sckyrim replace the actual body and dont cover it.

 

Im also loosing the skin textures.

 

Newbie problems!
