SJSvdWalt72 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 First post ever on this forum. Yay. My request is twofold in nature. 1. A new/updated Mass Effect 3 Nude mod. One that does not use the skinny female Shepard body (which the current nude mod does), but rather the Buff Body, (Go to the ME3 Nexus, you can't miss it.) or even the mesh of Dr Eva Core/EDI. In addition to updated or hires textures. Using the ME3explorer. It should be able to be used in combat as an armor selection and casual, even an injured version for the intro and ending. 2. Barring the above, I would appreciate pointers into how to learn to do the above myself. Cheers.
Guest Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Editing ME3 is not really hard. First of all grab the "all inclusive" tool to do the edits: ME3 Explorer by WarrantyVoid. Then, the most complex part, is to find the correct textures and meshes. For the textures you can use the "Discovery mode" of TexMod. But for the meshes, it is a little bit more hard. (Usually I find the texture, and then I use a couple of tools of ME3Explorer to fined in which .pcc file is used. Then I open the mesh editor and start browsing the meshes inside the .pcc When I found the one I am looking for, then PSK export, import in Blender, export as PSK, and import back. Just one BIG recommendation: copy the whole folder of the Mass Effect 3 data. For sure doing some testing you will make it no more working. And a copy with overwrite will put you back in a stable situation. For tutorials you can find some on Internet. I saw the video tutorials from WarrantyVoid on Youtube, and also the simple tutorials from GirlPlayGame
SJSvdWalt72 Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 For the textures you can use the "Discovery mode" of TexMod. I've never seen this mode in Texmod - only Package mode, Logging mode and Package Build... or are you referring to a different version of Texmod ? (Noobish clueless here, hate feeling like that :-)
Guest Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I meant "Logging mode". When I post the answer I didn't have TexMod with me, so I used my really poor memory.
