Snazzishoez Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 This isn't necessarily a Skyrim issue, but it is happening while playing Skyrim. Once in a great while, when an animation is about to start the game will freeze and not continue. It rarely ever happens, but when it does, I used to be able to restart my PC and when it closed to desktop I'd cancel before it actually restarted. With Windows 10 now, when restarting, it closes down and completely restarts. Then I have to enter password and wait for all the apps I have running to get loaded. Doesn't take too long, but much longer than I'd like. My question is: Is there an easy button configuration on the keyboard to use to get from the freeze to close to desktop so I don't have to reboot my system. I imagine there must be. I just never learned how. I would have done a search for this, but with all that I'd have to type in the search I'd get everything under the sun as a result. I figure someone around here must have bumped into this issue once or twice too.
ButchDiavolo Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I too get freezes sometimes. Instead of restarting the computer, you can try ctrl+alt+del and then selecting "sign out". This will not restart the pc, but it will place you back to the password screen. So it is a little bit faster that completely restarting.
