B013 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Hey folks. I made kind of a neat discovery (it's kind of common sense when I think about it) that might help some of you out. As you know Leito made some new animations recently. Every time he comes out with something new it takes some time for the Non-SL animations pack people (I think his name is Rydin) to integrate them into a new version. With this method you can do it yourself, and it's decently simple, but you'll need to get rid of some other animations unfortunately. If you download Leito's animations they are all in .hkx format. This is (I assume) the standard format for animations in the game. If you head to your data folder you can effectively rename Leito's animation files and use them to replace existing animations in the Sexlab animations folder. The reason this is needed, and the reason you can't just drag and drop them into the animations folder for Sexlab, is so that all the other scripts will run correctly. For example sound effects and controls. If you rename one of Leito's animations using the name of an existing animation name in your Sexlab folder, Leito's animation will play in game under the name of the animation you replaced. The only downside is that the actor alignment has not been worked out, so you'll need to do it manually. Also, if you want to use all the stages of Leito's animations (they usually have 5) you''ll need to replace another animation with 5 stages. Existing files that have 5 animations in the have an "_S5" ending to them. Also, you cannot replace an animation that uses a different number of actors. For example, you can't replace a 2 person animation with a three person one. Apart from this the method works well and I have tested it in game successfully. Please correct me on my shortcomings or ask me if you need help. I hope this is a useful post! EDIT: forgot to include the directory to reach the animations in the game folder it's: data > meshes > actors > character > animations
~magic~ Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Hey folks. I made kind ... animations This isn't a good way to do this. You are not going to find enough five-stage threesome animations to replace, and, even if you do, you will be very lucky if the cum is on the right actors and in the right places. Although Ashal discourages doing it this way, it is relatively straightforward to add animations by editing a couple files. It isn't much more complicated at all to add the animations without editing SexLab's scripts, as Rydin's Non Sexlab Animation Pack does. I will likely be writing a tutorial on this in the next few days. Rydin will probably update his Non Sexlab Animation Pack to include Leito's new animations soon enough.
