UUNP HDT Vanilla Convertions

I've started vanilla conversions of the armors into UUNP. It's the base vanilla non-skimpy version. I'm starting the armors and have not started on any gloves or boots since I don't have any meshes for them. If anyone can redirect me to some boots and glove meshes I could work on them.

Physics Preset (Doesn't have to be this one you can pick your own on LL.)

Make sure to download any of their requirements.

I think this is awesome. Good luck! It's rare to come by armor sets that aren't all about skimping it up. We shouldn't have to sacrifice coverage for bodyshaping! Huzzah! Been waiting for a bodyslidable armor replacer that isn't a bikini collection lol.

Wait uh your putting them on LL rather than on Nexus.

That's hilarious all those people demanding UUNP Vanilla, I get quite a smile thinking about it.

So you want to get the Boots and Gloves from the SkyrimMeshes.BSA in your Skyrim\Data Folder

Unpack them with a program called BSAopt its over at Nexus for download and its simple to pick up and just start using.

You may want to consider contacting author of SKYRIM Enhanced -High polygons- CBBE and bodyslide support for high polygon meshes. I think he is around here at LL too. These meshes basically look the same as vanilla but are a lot easier to work with because they are less blocky. Less chance of clipping and such. And they are compatible with any textures made for vanilla armors. The mod also includes boots.

Good luck!

I haven't bought the dlc yet and it's a requirement. Thanks for letting me know about this though I was looking for something like this. Maybe by the end of next month I could buy the dlc and see if I can start on them and start replacing these.

CBBE vanilla conversions shouldn't be a requirement for a UUNP conversion.

It has the meshes. Plus I wasn't sure about the permissions but I had forgotten to check the permission's tab on Nexus. I can probably start putting the meshes later.

Why do you need CBBE meshes instead of the vanilla ones to make a UUNP conversion?

I'm not 100% sure on this but I don't think you actually need them as a req. The reason why I'm using them is because the game itself doesn't include the meshes in any files. It would take several hours to make it work like it should in bodyslide and would be redundant for me to do so when there is something out there I can already convert.

If anyone wants a skimpy version someone has released one on the Nexus.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. The vanilla meshes are inside the Skyrim - Meshes.bsa inside the Data folder, all you have to do is to extract the ones you want to modify. Is there another reason why you need Caliente's meshes?

TBH, I don't really care which one you'll take as the base as long as it's not an extra requirement. And good luck with the conversion, a proper non-skimpy UNP conversion is definitely needed.

YAY!

Please keep going with these!  One of my main hesitations for switching to UUNP is that so many of the conversions are not lore-friendly.  This would go a long way to helping with that!

You can use low polygon vanilla meshes as bjornk pointed out, start from scratch and torture yourself. Or, you can use high polygon meshes that I linked. That way you have half the work done since you wont have to redo body sliders for BodySlide. You "just" have to add UUNP sliders which is still quite a project. And as I mentioned before, that will be a lot easier with high polygon meshes for obvious reasons.

BTW, some 7b thigh and calf sliders are already there too which can also be used for various UUNP body types.

Also, there is few known bugs that you should probably take a look at for your conversion.

With that said, naturally, the choice is yours and Godspeed.

Looks fine so far if a little heavy on the weightpaint but that could just be my default .xml. I hope though that vanilla metal armors don't get the rubberband treatment as if often the case.

I've already mentioned why I'm not using that. I don't have the dlc and wont have any money for it for a while. I still haven't replaced the broken hdd and I'm sitting with only 600 mb of free space right now I also still need to buy Windows as well.

Good news to you guys. Gamefever is now working on the high-poly mesh version some of you mentioned.

Excellent, thanks for info.

I'm a little confused why this is discontinued. gamefever states on the description page that he won't make a UNP version.

Even if he's making a bodyslide version, it's for CBBE, not UUNP. Textures won't match and there won't be UUNP sliders.

Read the comment section. He had already posted that he was going to work on a uunp version but I asked to make sure. You can see a list on what him and the others are working on. After I asked he also mentioned he is done with 10 pieces which is more than I've done in the past week. He's able to do it much faster and better because he has people to help him out now and a much better pc than I do to work on the conversions. Also how will textures not match? When you convert the armor's textures don't matter. As for the sliders, they come with the reference body so the armor's current body doesn't matter.

I see he updated his progress. He is 75% done with them, so yeah it's a lot better for me to just give this up.

Okay, good to know. Didn't know he keeps his status on the other mod's comments page.

As for the textures, I meant the body. The UV mapping would be for CBBE textures so exposed skin in certain areas will look wrong.

Oh I see what you mean now. That weird tearing the body gets.
