Changing race

Good evening guys.. I recently created a new elf character and used redguard race as base (cause elves are damn ugly in skyrim) but now I want to change the race to elf to get the race attribute (Wood elf).

Is there a way to do so ?

console > 'player. setrace woodelf'. Give that a go. I don't think it will change the appearance like racemenu but I only used it to keep a normal appearance but set race to vampire for various flags. I know for a fact it gives you the racial abilities when you change. 

 

also try: console > help (name of spell/power that wood elfs have) > player. addspell (ID # of spell/power)

In fact it didn't work well, I got the elf facial features ...is there another way to do that by playing directly in the character files ?
