Guest ...failure Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Try installing new nvidia driver or older but more stable one as you can remember while you play skyrim without issues And install full DX package, not web down load quickies. Try this let us know.

Try this let us know. I have Radeon HD 7970 with last stable official Catalyst Driver, in Skyrim I also ENB with SMAA injector, which until yesterday everything worked perfectly! are months that I use it without problems since today I installed 4 or 5 games, some old, Skyrim does not work anymore! some games like Mirror Edge or Trine 2, required to install Nvidia PhysX, I do not know if this CTD on Skyrim main menu is cause by PhysX? some Steam games installed today, I have installed a old version of DirectX and even older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005
Arhon Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 First are you using mods? Second do you have all their requiremenets? CTD on main menu means you are missing a master mod. Wrye Bash can help you find out what mod that is by highlighting it as red.

The mods installed and active are the same yesterday, I use LOOT v8 (no error), SKSE 1.73, FNIS last version, SexLab 1.59, I updated anything today like yesterday, belonging new games installed I have not updated anything today, all the mods, enb and Skyrim settings are the same of Yesterday, today or just installed a few games from Steam today
