[help] Succubus Horns & DDA Collars - Same slot :-(

As the tittle states, apparently the horns for the succubus package occupy slot 45, same as the collars from DDA.  I'm certainly not going to try re-assigning the slots on all the collars, so will be doing the horns.

  • I should be able to just open the PSQ PlayerSuccubusQuest ESM in the CK and reassign the horns to another slot, correct?
  • Do I need to change anything else?
  • Any recommendations for which slot?  I'm not overly familiar with what slots are often used for what and don't want to create another issue down the road.  I'm thinking the Helmet slot (31) as you're not likely to wear a helmet if you're sporting horns... at least I'm not :-)

Thank you kindly!

Correction: slot 31 says 'hair' so if I assign horns to that she'll be bald.  So, slot 42 "long hair"?  Slot 50 or 51 for decapitation?  Need I worry about that?

I think you have to edit the horns mesh as well to change the slot. if it doesn't match with the CK, it won't be visible at all.

NifSkope can be used to edit the mesh.

Yep!  Found a mini tutorial.  It's all working.  My Succubus can keep her collar &/or harness on when she transforms.  I took the esp created from the CK and stuffed it in the mod folder of the transform pack.  Wasn't sure what else to do with it.  One more esp to deal with :-(

Thanks mate.
