Blackout Events not triggering in DAYMOYL?

Hi,

 

I've just re-installed everything for a second time after deciding to go with the STEP guide, and then LL stuff on top of that, and I'm still having this issue with DAYMOYL, which i'm relying on for several of the mods I'm trying to use. Specifically, whenever I blackout, nothing happens. No events of any kind, whether they be part of the mod itself, or another mod linked to it, trigger. All that happens is the screen goes black for a few seconds, then I stand up again and get whacked some more, after which I die for real and have to reload.

 

To be clear I'm getting the message: "You have blacked out and and will now be transported to one of various events blah blah blah", it just never happens.

 

Anyone have this issue before? If so, what are the common causes I can check?
