alexm88 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Hi guys! Just migrated to SL 1.6 Fix1. The update procedure went fine and my characters animating well. Still there is one huge problem which happened to custom race NPCs and can't cope for myself. It is the scaling problem. When animation starts ALL participating NPC characters shrinks/enlarges to a specific height (even in solo anims). Sexlab "Even actors" option could be on or off either - it doesn't matter. PC character remains of its height if participating an animation with even option set to off. When animation ends NPCs remain scaled. I don't blame the Sexlab Framework for this because it doesn't even know that rescaling happened. Moreover the Skyrim itself doesn't know it (clicking on scaled npc and typing GETSCALE in console returns it values before scaling occurred). But I decided to look for support here because: 1) I've found an old thread: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/21717-character-height-changing/ which describes my problem. Ashal offered a fix for Sexlab there but it is outdated now.2) I've never seen scaling bugs in 1.59c so I think the cure was found and could be removed in 1.60. I also noticed that all creatures are scaled to some values during animations. And Skyrim's GETSCALE returns values as if it wasn't scaled at all. Who scales creatures? Maybe all custom races NPCs are threated like creatures and scaled by this mysterious code? Unfortunately I can't say if this happens to vanilla races also because they are all about 1.0/1.0 and scaling (if it takes place) is nearby invisible since I have no idea how to get REAL scaling of animating characters. Thank you in advance. P.S. OldGuy879 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 have you tried copy you XP32MSE skeleton to your custom race fold ? some like the Succubus race use its own skeleton and needs to be overridden manually
alexm88 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 have you tried copy you XP32MSE skeleton to your custom race fold ? some like the Succubus race use its own skeleton and needs to be overridden manually Just tried - no change. Also tried to trigger sex animations with different mods. I don't think that it is skeleton related bug because scaling occurs with NPC only. PC is of a custom race too but never scales. I'll try to find Ebony Warrior. He's taller than other vanilla NPCs. UPD1: Seduced Ebony Warrior, two nords and another redguard. Now it's clear that vanilla races aren't affected by this. If I change the height of NPC via console it will return to its default value after animation starts (or on stage change). So the unwanted height change happens somewhere between animation start and the moment when NPC undresses. Sexlab even actors option if off. UPD2: Solved. This is Skyrim problem which occurs after attaching actor to a marker. Forcing resize is the only solution. BTW 1.59c has this resize.
