FNIS not getting along with SexLab?

It was suggested I bring this problem to this thread rather than general Skyrim support, so a quick copypaste:

Alright, so I recently picked up Skyrim again to continue where I left off, though also noticed a lot of my mods became outdated over the past month or two, including FNIS and Sexlab-related mods. So I shut down and removed the outdated mods, and replaced them with the updated versions. Upon starting the game up again, nothing for Sexlab works! I checked the mod in-game, everything is registering alright with it; but whenever I try testing, I get no animations. No crashes or anything, sounds certainly play alright, just the characters will stand there doing nothing.

I figure maybe it's got something to do with the old game using old files, so I start a new game to be sure. Still no luck. Any other suggestions?

Papyrus:

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1

I'm up to date with SKSE 1.7.3, FNIS 5_5, FNIS Creatures 5_3, Sexlab Framework 1.6 and all updated content.

Which lead to:

Since it's happening on new games, it's most likely a bad install of something. However, SexLab itself seems to be running normally, as the actors validated and a AnimationStart event was broadcasted. I would assume the issue is somehow related to FNIS, but you have the latest version, and I assume you've ran GenerateFNISforUsers.exe again after updating SexLab in order to update the animation behaviors, so I'm not sure what's causing your problem.

Also, I'd highly recommend posting in the SexLab Technical Support section instead, as the section you posted on is more for general Skyrim support.

So here I am now. Help anyone?

Double check that the all the esp's are activated, sometimes updating/reinstalling a mod I've noticed they don't always stay activated. But it sounds like GenerateFNISforUsers needs to be run again, and the files put in the proper place. Using MO I usually 'create  mod' from the overwrite files that FNIS creates

Embarrassing as it sounds, I don't suppose there's a quicker, less mind boggling way to go about it, is there? @_@

Also, I've triple-checked and overwritten old created patches when having FNIS run again as well. There was no luck in doing that either. The weird part is all my other animations work fine - it's just the SexLab material. Weirder still, FNIS has been reading them just fine, and they've been put into the usual orders I've noticed them in. EVERY other mod runs perfectly fine.

I tried poking around with the priorities as well, no good. Redownloading the mods in hopes that the copies were corrupted and that could be fixed with fresh ones. Nope. Short of reinstalling everything (even if I could wrap my head around all the stuff Anatrix says to use it'd still mean a reinstall to make sure it's done right), I'm at a loss.

Try to put SexLab.esm at the very last esm you are loading.

Well, I don't know if it counts as "fixed", but I went ahead and reinstalled the entire game and mods I had. Everything's in working order now. Case closed I guess?

Interesting, though I started to have the same problem after updating Sexlab and SOS, and then after research I found with 1.6 you need to start SL from with the MCM menu. Maybe this is what was happening? Well, glad yo got it up and running!

Im having the same problem as the OP had. I have current FNIS and all current animation mods, which consist of NSAP. I have SLAR and SE thats it. And yes I have current SKSE and legit copy of the game. I have tried to use Mod Organizer and it messed up most of my previous saves, so no Im not using that. Not sure what Im doing wrong here, Id like to put my papyrus log on here but dont want to have a wall of text, ah here lol nvm.

Did you go into Sexlab via MCM and made sure it was on? With 1.60, you have to tell it to start. That may be it.

On a side note, I don't think MO messes up saves, not having the same mods loaded in same relative order is what messes up saves.

I have the same problem but in my case I had installed an idle animation mod that wouldn't stop playing even after I had uninstalled the npc and or player would equip any items needed and the sounds would play but the idle animation was still running.
