honey001 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Hi there! Like a dozen times before the itching got the better of me and I decided to install a fresh Skyrim game - yay! Installed some Nexusmod mods with MO, all going well. But the download function here seems to be broken in some kind of way. I often get a file that is some kb instead of 80mb and Winrar tells me the archive is corrupt of course. And even if it works after the fourth try I get ctd after activating the mod (yes, checked requirements). I tried it with my PC and with a Windows tablet. It *could* be my Internet connection, yes, but downloads from other sites seem to work just fine, and during the past years I previously downloaded Sexlab Framework like 120 times without a problem. I found nothing in the announcements, so I thought why not ask here. Anyone know anything? Halp pwease :c
19Bladedancer76 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Hi, i have the same problem since Yesterday, also thought it ´s my Internet connection. But for me there are Mods which have only 0 Byte like Animal Mansion Redux. Help would be great Sorry for my English, but it´s not my native Language Edit: And this Time I use Mod Organizer, I will never ever make a new Install of Skyrim!
honey001 Posted August 20, 2015 Author Posted August 20, 2015 Well I am glad I am not the only one here. I really hope this is getting fixed soon
bahow Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I got the same issue today. Was trying to download an attachment, but all I could download was a corrupt 46 kb archive file. In the end, I managed to download the file properly by using my dusty internet explorer. Try using a different browser.
Takazatara Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Tried different browsers tried 7zip and winrar nothing wants to work, some of the files are just corrupted archives.
honey001 Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 It's not only this site it seems. Ladymoiraine.com won't let me download SAM properly, too. Either I'm getting slow download speeds, a faulty download, or the servers won't answer altogether. Seems strange that this issue hasn't been adressed before.
