Stamins Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Hello everybody. Well despite to looking through google and all other sources i could find, i have no idear what i do wrong. First of all, i used NVSE 4.5. Worked great, except that 3/4th of the Mod´s wont work with Version 4.5. So i installed the Beta one... i get into the menue, i can press new game and then crash to desktop with a windows error "Try to solve the issue". I tryed it up and down, with a clearn version even only launching the game with NVSE Beta2 and without. Got a German Fallout New Vegas version with all DLC`s. I mean i can´t be the only one with that issue... and it happens only to the NVSE 5.0b2 and i have nooo idear how to fix it or even where to start. Somebody got an idear... maybe? Some kind of compatibility mode , perhaps or some dll fix related to a german FalloutNV version? And yes, it´s original, no crack and tryed allready a clean installation. The Files are all ended up in the Main directory with the .exe files (witch worked great with NVSE 4.5, no issues there!) and so on. And yes the last resort would be to write to the NVSE Devolopers, but i thought maybe you guys still got an idear. Cheers, Stamins.
Anatriax Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 It's not just you, but NVSE is not the problem. Game loads fine outside of Mod Organizer, but when launched through MO I can't get it to work.Updates as I make progress.
Stamins Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Ha? I don´t used the Mod Organizer in the testrun. I only installed NVSE. Nothing else, no mods, nor DLC´s for a Testrun. I start the game, it´s only Fallout NV and NVSE, nothing else. And the game crashs. No matter if i start it directly or with NVSE_Loader.exe or via Steam. Despite that, i use the Fallout Mod Manager, like suggested in this Forum when i try to get all the Mods to run.

Anatriax Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Ok, well it's not a problem with NVSE. I'm using the beta, and it works fine when ran outside of MO.Did you clean your master files, by chance? If so, redownload them and try again.
Stamins Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Two Times. And here goes Number 3 it seems because i seem to be the only one on the planet that can´t get the beta2 to run at all. Still funy that 4.5 runs without any issues, at all. To bad nobody uses that anymore.... Sorry, gettin a bit frustrated over here. And in the end, like 90% of all cases, it´s always the fault of the no gore version. Could bet on it...
Anatriax Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 When switching to the beta did you do a totally clean installation of NVSE? 100% sure no files were left over?Edit: Again, this is not a problem with NVSE. I have heard no reports of errors with the beta version. Your problem is something else.
Stamins Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Let me see, all save data files and configs, the registry entrys (with regular deinstall), the local data dump files, temporary files, the main game files and a manuel delete of all leftovers from all these sources, except the registry, (i will not get my hands on that). Did i miss anything?
Anatriax Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Just get CCleaner, run it to automatically clean your registry (it's safe, I promise. Especially if you make a backup of your current config when asked). Restart your PC, then verify game integrity. Make sure to delete the ENTIRE root folder of FNV EXCEPT the Data Folder.
Stamins Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 Yep. CC Cleaned, fresh installed, all checked out. Still as soon as i install a freshly downloaded NVSE 5.02b and installed it in FNV, by copying even file after file from the exctracted 7zip , one at a time, to FNV main directory where all .exe are in too, started the game and pressed new game it crashes to desktop before the opening video begins with a windows error. I give it up then. Will just see if i can any leftover mods for 4.5 stable, my only option now. Still, thx for the try in getting a solution for that issue.
Anatriax Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 If you're getting CTD at the main menu, chances are you have a missing master somewhere. I maintain that this is not an NVSE problem. There is another issue somewhere.
Anatriax Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 If it IS an NVSE problem, it's one of two things: 1) your download is corrupt and it needs redownloaded or 2) it's not being installed properly, and you're not launching with NVSE_loader.exe
Stamins Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 It crashes when the "Moon" intro sequences start, when i press "New Game". It works like a charme at the menue, i even get the console confirmation that it is running. I downloaded the Beta Files now 20 times i think. They can´t be corrupted , if they are, then the sourcefiles must be corrupted. And i launch it with NVSE_loader.exe. But i can´t find any more error sources, not without reinstall my whole OS again. And that´s the point where i will change over to skyrim and check out if i get that one to run with mods.

Stamins Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 I guess i will need to read the entire manuel before i rlly understand that program, but a first launch and checking for the main esm file showed no errors at all. All was loaded smoothly and checked out. But i don´t see anywhere in that logs that it would check for NVSE. Seems like it only checks esm files and NVSE isn´t a .esm file. But no errors at all that i could see.
