Is there a way to play as an npc?

Fairly simple question is there a console command or a mod of some kind that let's you clone an already ingame existing npc so that you can edit yourself to look just like it? Or something like an import face from npc feature

You can do that via the CK by using the face of an NPC as preset.

Also there is a ton of mods on the nexus that do exactly that.

There is actually a console command to take control of the target, you can even control a dragon to fly and spit fire.

 

However, I forgot the command already......

yeah the player.tc and tc but that's not quite what I'm looking for I wanna make my main character the one that looks like an npc ^^
