I am trying to load a very old save file but i cannot as the game crashes at the loading screen everytime.

It says some mods are missing. i changed from CBBE to UNP. also removed a lot of mods and added more , probably 50 or more.

asking here because i used mods like defeat and SD (still do.)

i need to load this old save file as i had done a lot of quests and shit which would take 200 + hours to do again.

If you are using Mod Organizer just select the save game in MO, it will tell you which required mods are missing.

I had similar problem as you do. I inherited bunch of saves from my father who uninstalled/installed many mods...none of those saves are playable now although I check them with Tes5edit and save cleaner tool...afraid that you have to start new game..no help...or you can returned previous mods back and pray that they will work.

And thanks to CPU's comment - I remember that he had MO and NMM but he mostly used NMM for installing/uninstalling mods. If you do have MO, you should be fine will old save. They are recoverable. NMM haven't this possibility.

Try Mod Organizer, can be your only chance to find which mod is missing.

Usually a CDT at game load is not because a mod is missing, but because a dependent mod is missing.

As I can see so far, you're missing very important mods under 10, 11, 34, 36. There are surly more... Why don't you post this problem under MO section. I'm sure that virtualclarity and others will help you since they re experts for MO. :)

Not to mention missing esm's at No.:3 and 26, which is an instant CTD on game load...
