Feddo Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 After trying to update Dynamic Distant Object Lod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59721) the DynDOLOD Worlds cmd crashed so I relaunched it and it was (seemingly) successful although when I loaded up Skyrim again peoples skins seemed washed out (nsfwish examples here). I'm using the 4096 texture for cbbe with the all in one face that is recommended in the install along with Project enb and enboost v0279. It was working fine and then, as far as I know, after I tried resetting up DDOLOD skins looked washed out. I have reinstalled the enb and enboost with enbmanager and even tried Killers Realistic Skin SSS patch for enb (by changing subsurfacescattering in enbseries) but the skin still looks washed out. I disabled DDOLOD in Mod organizer but it's still there, I also made a bashed patch if that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I can post a loadorder/modlist if needed.

ENB and ENBoost are the same thing, for Skyrim >.< There is no difference. It's all in properly setting up enblocal.ini (Sorry, this is one of my biggest pet peevs) Adding the Nexus Mods ENBoost AFTER installing ENB could totally break your ENB setup, as ENBoost on Nexus is based off of a much older ENB binary, and uses a totally different .ini than the current ENB. Yes, many of the settings are the same; however, the names of some have been altered slightly, or settings removed entirely (or new ones added). On to the real topic. If DynDOLOD caused this problem, this is something that needs to be reported to Sheeson on the official thread at STEP. He's very tentative to his thread and his work. I HIGHLY doubt that the culprit is DynDOLOD, as it touches character textures in no way, shape, or form. Without a complete mod list and load order, there's not much we'll be able to do to help you.

I used enboost off of the actual enbdev site so it's up to date and spliced it with Project enb (by default it has a really old version so I added the most recent enb), I am not using the one from nexus. As for mod list and load order I attached them in this post. Yea, I don't think it is DynDOLOD the only reason I mentioned it was because it was the last thing I did before I had (or noticed) the problem. modlist.txt loadorder.txt
Feddo Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 So luckily for me I backed up my Skyrim before this mess-up and when I reloaded all my enb files it fixed the problem so it has something to do with my enb or enbseries because when I loaded the enb fresh the skin texture was still washed out. I have no idea how it happened or what I did originally to get the skin looking like that but it seems to be fixed now.
