hmamato Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Problem I installed SL months ago and had no problems while playing, mod was working fine. I've played three or four characters over about six months with no issues. I recently returned to the game with a new character (some new mods but for the most part a similar load order). I'm now finding I can't change animations during scenes, but only sometimes and I cannot find any pattern to it. Specifically, when it doesn't work, the console reports that an animation starts, but the scene immediately changes to one of about three animations then refuses to change afterwards. What I've done to try and fix it The FAQ mentioned this... Question: My adjustment or animation change hotkeys don't workAnswer: If the mod you are triggering the animation from treats it as "aggressive" and you have the SexLab option for "Disable Victim Controls" turned on, which is on by default. Also check the hotkeys menu to make sure you are using the right hotkeys, they can change from time to time, and upgrading will reset your hotkeys back to default if you've changed them. But that hasn't helped. The disable victim controls wasn't turned on by default, but it doesn't work regardless. With it turned on, pressing the change animation key correctly doesn't print anything to the console. With it off, it repeatedly prints "Playing Animation: <same animation over and over>". I've tried changing the hotkey, but as I said the default hotkey definitely tries to trigger the change, it just doesn't happen. This shows three scenes, each time an animation starts, immediately and automatically changes, then I try to manually change a couple of times: (for clarity, this log isn't related to the papyrus log below) I've tried removing a lot of mods (apart from graphics mods, some magic mods, and some mods I've played with before that I think are harmless). Load order: loadorder.txt I've tried with the stable version of SL and the latest test build, same issue. Same with current game or new game. Papyrus log I've read through the papyrus log but I don't know enough about Skyrim to figure it all out. I've got a few more, but this one was probably the most interesting because it had a working scene and a non working scene within one Defeat attack, followed by a non working scene in the next Defeat attack (I've tried triggering scenes with Matchmaker with Defeat uninstalled in case that was the issue, but no luck). scriptlog.txt What I have identified is at line 438 the animations seem to "register". Then at line 594 (the start of the first scene, when the animation change didn't work): [08/09/2015 - 07:38:51PM] SEXLAB - Thread[0] Event Hook - AnimationStart[08/09/2015 - 07:38:52PM] SEXLAB - Animations[-1] ZapMissionary01 - ZapMissionary01 That second line seems to be important but I don't know enough to follow up on it. Then at line 625 (second scene, animation change did work during this one): [08/09/2015 - 07:39:21PM] SEXLAB - Thread[1] Event Hook - AnimationStart[08/09/2015 - 07:39:23PM] SEXLAB - Thread[1] Event Hook - StageStart That line doesn't occur this time. Then at 662 (third scene, doesn't work again): [08/09/2015 - 07:40:18PM] SEXLAB - Thread[0] Event Hook - AnimationStart[08/09/2015 - 07:40:21PM] SEXLAB - Animations[-1] ZapMissionary02 - ZapMissionary02 Happens this time too. So it looks like the change animation button itself works fine, but the animation list gets reset to a single animation? Don't know where to go with this though. Any help would be appreciated.
WraithSlayer Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Go to Zaz Animation Pack's MCM, SexLab section, and find an option called 'Override if needed'. Disable it.

SlabLover Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Sorry to necro this thread, but I had this exact problem and am glad I looked this far back into the archive before posting a new thread. Thanks for the answer!
