saizetsu Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I am running Win8.1 (not by choice) and I was testing familiar faces 1.1.5 and i found out that skyrim cannot be written to. At least while in the x86 folder, will i break anything to move skyrim out of there to a newly created folder in the C drive? Move all of steam really. I figure this is where most of my crashing is coming from currently. Will there be any paths to change?

saizetsu Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 Aye the issue is that win8.1 is making it read only no matter where it is installed. I just need skyrim to be not read only, i have given everything full control in an attempt to change this but it does not work. Should i have posted this topic elsewhere btw? It was about skyrim tbh..
