how did i cause this and how can i duplicate it?

here's the weird issue, during my game I met a few tribes of friendly foreswarn.. really lol

 

so I turned 3 girls into followers using AFT, used them for awhile(combat help), changed they're costumes, added slave collar effects on them so they have fun with each other when we are about >.< so I go whiterun home and do a "dismiss but hang out here" on all 3,

 

did my bits I needed to do, went back and decided to remove them from AFT as I only got 5 slots spare, I remove all 3 expecting them to leave but they don't O_O so now I got 3 foreswarn women camping in my whiterun house lol (which im ok with as its not my main house)

 

so I went after a few more friendly ones, I did all the same thing but these wont stay >.< 

 

so my question is what in the blazes did I do before? or what could have caused it?
