Neckline color difference

I was able to fix the neckseam for UNP skinny body for all but one of my seven female character presets using this tutorial, but I have not been able to fix the skin color difference above the neckline and below the wrists (hands).

 

The feet/ankles appear fine, no seams or color differential there.

Please offer advice on how to fix this if you know how.

Try this mod. It don't fix your problem entirely, but you can make head and body almost the same color. Pay attention to requirements, or it's won't work.

Thats a pretty common thing dont worry. Its the body, hands and head meshes combining yet they have slightly different colours and it happens with pretty much every texture. If your using a CBBE based body run this program http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5737/?and if UNP based texture use this one http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30759/? . Make suree you read the instructions on how to use them on their pages. These two programs are definatley worth using and pretty simple once you know how.

Try this mod. It don't fix your problem entirely, but you can make head and body almost the same color. Pay attention to requirements, or it's won't work.

 

What about the hands?

 

It looks like that mod only changes the color of the head but not the hands.

Are you *sure* you're using the same texture on the hands and head as you are the body?

 

It makes sense your feet match because the "feet" literally share a texture with the "body" (while the head has its own texture, and hands have their own texture too - with unp anyways, and that's all i use).

 

To me it looks like your head and hands have the *same texture* .. but your body (and thus feet as well) are using a whole different textures. Emmm.. so like maybe you installed like "mature woman" skin, or something but somehow forgot to pick a body texture option!? Is that a possiblity?

 

i tend to think its that, rather than the general "neck seam" issue because of the fact that it's effecting your wrists as well.. which seems atypical.

Well looking at that mod it seems like you need at least two different files for UNP? to make it work seamless, are you using them both?

 

Like "Normalmaps UNP and Vanilla Seamless" and "Body Normalmap UNP"?

 

Although it seems strange if that alone (if you just did the body one) could cause such a big issue, but maybe.

This is what is shows when I try to blend the hand textures with the UNP texture blending tool.

 

Evidently it supports head and feet, but not hands.
