The song does not promote suicide. It's about what a suicide victim feels before dying.

I understood that part but by the simple fact of making the song and vid is a simple promotion as it does not show the good that comes from overcoming the pain.

Don't take me the wrong way I, in a weird way, enjoyed the performance, it just brought to fore a whole bunch of ethical thoughts about how when some are in the pit this might just be the proverbial straw.

Not the bands fault, the fault is in the individual in question.

Not much different than handing a recovering addict their weapon of choice while saying...it's just entertainment not to be used just enjoy it.

This is no attack on you, not saying anything about you, just the content of the song...you said it yourself in the disclaimer...It's a dark one, so listen at your own discretion.

When I was young we all sat in front of the Black & White Television and watched the Beatles first performance on Ed Sullivan, I have seen such a change in the world I wonder what changes the young people of today will have seen by the time they are grey???? One can only imagine.

The point of the song is to help people understand the pain suicide inflicts.

This one is a pretty good blend of multiple kinds of lyrical meter, something that isn't particularly present in most other music

I checked out this tune and, at first, it sounded too Pop for my personal taste. Then, I checked the lyrics. Really cool tune, thanks for hipping me to it. I love really good lyrics when sung with soul. I'm going to have to see what else they've done. Groovy.

LL changed the site so most (should be all) videos are linked because of storage space was limited so, all videos were set to link not post.

It does not always work.

Also the Moderators asked all videos be set inside a spoiler and if they are not they are supposed to be reported...I never report them but I do set almost all vids and images inside a spoiler these days.

It is much kinder than having to scroll and scroll to reach what one actually wants to see.   

I believe you are an asset to this site even though you are a new user here.    :cool:
