indipuk Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Is there a better skeleton than http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45229/?for New Vegas?
Anatriax Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Not that I'm aware of. I think that's the one everyone uses.
Guest Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Is there a better skeleton than http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45229/?for New Vegas? It depends by what "better" means for you. What do you need to do?
Beard of Socrates Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 This is a bit more refined, and recent if that's what you're looking for. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/?id=56657
Fredas Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 The "The Skeleton" linked above has better flexibility and "havoked" breasts and such. In theory this makes it the best choice. In actuality, the breasts are really only havoked in the sense that you can manipulate them (on a corpse). They don't jiggle freely on live actors the way they would on a HDT-enabled body in Skyrim for example. The dealbreaker is the same problem you get in Skyrim: All those extra vertices on the skeleton causes bodies to weigh a ton in-game. The "solution" in Skyrim is to cause the player to be able to lift a ton - something that really isn't much of a solution because the physical reactions of bodies in Skyrim that weigh a ton are very disappointing (they have rigor mortis). But not even this "solution" exists for Fallout 3 / NV. So I really can't recommend this skeleton.
Guest Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I guess there's a global that can be modified to make them less heavy
