So, I know its a silly request, but I will do it anyway :P

What I looking for is a way to use both UNP & CBBE body mods - the cloths to be exactly.

I been intalling armors for both body and had a few glinch here and there. At the beggin I used the standart CBBE body and after v3 I got a modificated slim version using CBBE Tool (I put the boobs +up than the slim and the hips -up than the same body).

It somewhat did the trick, but his what been give me a real headache: the texture. Some armor use their own textures so its fine but when I try this mod ~Combination Vanilla Outfit For UNP~ things realy mess up and I even end up whit random CTD just after equip some armor :(

So, is there anyway to edit a texture to make then compatible whit each other? Or someone alread has one?

My point is: Most of CBBE cloths and armors are skimp or very skimp and its not always that I wanna look sexy in my game and switch body just to wear a less skimp cloth is kinda stupid to me, specialy when I used at least six beaut mod for my face :s

In the 'olden' days (Oblivion/FO) you could change the texture paths for the skin to point to another location, so, say you have the CBBE textures as default, you could point the skin parts to another folder and therefore another set of textures (for UNP clothes, that would be UNP textures).

I believe that all texture paths are now controlled via the Creation Kit through texture sets (overriding the texture paths in the nifs). So in order to do it through the CK now, I think you'd need to split the skin parts from the cloth parts, making two nifs (4 if you include the min and max weights!), create armor pieces from the separated cloth parts to the original texture set, add the separated skin parts as new armor pieces in the CK and create a new texture set for them (pointing to the relevant body textures), then combine those armor parts into a new armor set... basically a hell of a lot of work for EACH item of clothing you want.

To be honest, I'd reccommend just sticking to one body type and it's relevant clothing and hound the other body's clothing modders to convert for you :)

Although this technically worked, am I now recommending that no one try this simply because it screws up your textures. -_-

Im going to keep messing around, but there are no guarantees. :C

I have been wanting to do this too and I just discovered a "semi-solution." It isnt a perfect solution, and will not solve all of your problems, but it will increase the number of clothes that your character can wear from the CBBE and UNP collections.

I am still testing this, but so far, I am noticing a lot of promise!

My Reason for Searching for a Solution:

I use the CBBE body, but first run it through the BodySlide program and set it to the UNP settings.  Doing this has basically allowed me to wear both CBBE and UNP clothes.  The problem though is that using UNP clothes on this UNP-looking CBBE body always gave me horrible-looking geometric artifacts on the hip bones (They look like semi-clear spots on the skin).  They only appeared on low-fitting clothing however- basically anything that allows the hip's or upper hip's skin to be seen.

If I did the opposite and used the UNP body with CBBE clothing that has been configured with BodySlide to fit UNP body, I no longer get the geometric artifacts, but the crotch seemed too wide and looked bad where the legs meet the crotch!

So, long story short, like the OP of this thread, I too wanted to use as many clothes on one body as I could, with extremely few or no (preferred) artifacts whatsoever.

The Solution... Kinda:

1) You need both CBBE and UNP bodies, so you need to download them both.

2) Install the CBBE body and use whatever settings you want.  It shouldnt matter what settings you use.

3) Go into BodySlide and set the body to UNP.  You may be able to do some minor tweaks to the body, but I am not sure what the limits are yet.  So far, all I have tried was decreasing shoulder width by 20% (-20%) on both light and heavy bodies.

3.1) Use the Batch tool and set your UNP body to all armor packs you have.

4) Extract the UNP zip file

5) Open the extracted folder and navigate to ...Data\textures\Actors\Character\female.

5.1) Copy femalebody_1_msn.dds

6) Navigate to the same directory, but in your game folder this time.

6.1) Paste the dds file and overwrite the original (CBBE) files.

Recommendations with this "semi-solution":

A) With a particular clothing set, when given the option of a CBBE or UNP version, ALWAYS go for the UNP version UNLESS the CBBE version has BodySlide support.

In other words: [CBBE with BodySlide] > [uNP] > [CBBE without BodySlide]

B ) When using CBBE-only clothes, ALWAYS try to get ones that are BodySlide friendly and set them to your UNP body's settings.

KNOWN ISSUES:
A) When using CBBE-only clothes that are not BodySlide compatible, you will see a fairly small geometric transparent spot on the hips if the skin in that area is visible.  Honestly, it could be lived with (unless you do photographs or something) and is far better looking (in my opinion) than when you use the CBBE body (set as UNP with BodySlide) and try putting UNP-only clothes on it.

B ) As of right now, that is all I notice.

C) When wearing a non-BodySlide CBBE clothing/armor set... your character may... well... have two... bellybuttons.

It's weird but kinda funny! (It is caused by the clothing having seperate skin textures from the actual body).
