Zuben11 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Hi there everyone! ^^ I'm not completely new to modding, but I haven't played Skyrim in a long while, and I decided to do a clean reinstall to try out some of the new mods...and spice things up a little. After spending n afternoon learning Mod Operator and making all of my other modules work ( Perkus Maximus, the unofficial patches, CBBE and outfits conversion (even if this didn't work completely...)), I moved on and installed SexLab. That's were problems started. <.< Using FNIS with MO didn't give me problems for XP32, but after I tried to use it to install SexLab+FNIS' creature pack and More Nasty Critters it started popping errors left and right: the problems persisted even after applying FNIS' patch from a couple of days ago. After that, I just manually installed all of FNIS and MNC, and FNIS finally worked. When I launched the game to test if everythings was allright, however, I found a bigger problems than the creature animations: the Creature animations (from the Hentai x spells) worked perfectly, but my character was standing still and doing no animations. D: I tried a quick fix that I saw around about putting a "SexLab" folder into the "behavior" folder, but that didn't work. Did I installed incorrectly SexLab? :/ Could anybody help? PS:Is this the correct forum for this? Or should I have posted it in one of the stickied topics?
Guest Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 This is the correct forum. So, let's start by a few basic points. 1) be sure the folders are the default ones. No need to move files around. 2) let's Mod Organizer to handle the placement. But be sure, when you install a mod with it, that the correct "data" folder is selected. MO will give yo a warning if it is not. 3) Try to re-install from scratch FNIS and all the patches. 4) Do you have any error when you use GenerateFNISFrousers?
Zuben11 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Ok, I've both restored the folder as it was before, and I've let Mod Organizer handle the placements. After I put the folder back as it was, when I run FNIS for users, it doesn't give me errors anymore, but if I run a consistence check, it gives me 595 consinstency issues. That's bad, right? <.< Looking at them, they all seem to be missing animation files for the character. They look all like this: Missing AnimFile Missionary_A2_S4.hkx for character, mod SexLabMissing AnimFile Boobjob_A1_S1.hkx for character, mod SexLab [...] Missing AnimFile Falmer_Missionary_A1_S4.hkx for character, mod SexLabCreatureMissing AnimFile Gargoyle_Doggystyle_A1_S1.hkx for character, mod SexLabCreature So I guess that the missing animations aren't just the More Nasty Critters ones, but also the standard ones. :/ Giving a second look at them, there also seem to be missing animations for bears, giants, and horses: during the quick testing I did, these were the ones that didn't work on the animal part, too. I'm guessing that I somehow botched the installation of sexlab framework? PS: I've been trying to get Papyrus running to be more precise, but to no avail: the closest thin I have is a PapyrusUtilDev.log :/ PPS: Okay, maybe Mod Operator was saving papyrus in its own log. Is the Papyrus log the file I've attached? ModOrganizer.log
Guest Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 For the Papyrus.log (but I don't think it will be useful here), you have to edit your Skyrim.ini file (or Skyrim_default.ini), and be sure you have inside: [Papyrus] fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 Now, if you get consistence errors for the animations, probably the .hkx files (the actual animations) are not in the correct path. Please provide a screenshot of the FNIS window. And maybe a screenshot of your Skytim\Data\ folder and <mod organizer>\mods\ folder. Better if you also expand all SexLab sub-folders (meshes\actors\characters\...)
Zuben11 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Like this? The FNIS images 2 and 3 are the start and end of the consistence check: it was too long to screencap in its entirety, but it's all like that, telling me that I'm missing all of those Anim files.
Guest Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 OK, question. Are you using Mod Organizer? The animations are in the correct folder, but not managed by Mod Organizer... (It is the default Skyrim folder.) If you generate FNIS from MO, and maybe another folder is telling it that no anims are available...
Zuben11 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 I've been running FNIS manually from the Skyrim folder because it kept giving me errors when I launched it from MO, but I'll try to run FNIS from MO and see if it works. EDIT: I tried it, here are attached images of what happens. Sorry for the parts in Italiaa, that's my sytem language. <.< A rough translation is "Ecception not managed by the application" for the first picture, and "Impossible to find file" for the second.
Guest Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 OK. Don't worry about Italian. I speak it. EN: So, can you give me the path you are using for FNIS? It should be "Skyrim\Data\tool\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\"... The last error you posted, it happens when you try to run FNIS from MO, doesn't it?
Zuben11 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Ok, capito.
Guest Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Please always write in English. Not everybody speaks Italian... EN: the wrong path of FNIS when running it from MO can be the source of your problems. Re-install it in the correct path and try again. (If you are in MO, you can just re-arrange the folder structure without actually re-installing it.)
Zuben11 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Oh, right, sorry. I tried to change the folder structure and make Mod Organizer use the correct FNIS, but it still gives me the same error. I've also dowloaded the new FNIS 5_5_1 fix, but the situation hasn't changed. Should I reinstall FNIS, then, and see if it works? EDIT: This is wierd. I've tried to run FNIS another time, just after the previous time without changing anything, and now it gave me this. It's a...step forward from before?
Guest Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 EN: Probably a full reinstall will solve your problems. Uninstall SexLab and FNIS (and dependencies, keep SKSE), then reinstall all of them in the correct order through MO. Good luck. IT: Probabilmente una reinstallazione completa ti risolvera' i problemi. De-installa SexLab e FNIS (e totte le dipendenze, ma mantieni SKSE), poi reinstalla tutto usando Mod Organizer (e controllando i path di installazione, se MO ti da' dei warnings, controlla i path.) Buona fortuna.
Zuben11 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 Understood. I'll post again if I manage to get it running.
Zuben11 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 An Update: Reinstalling everything has worked! This time I installed everything with Mod Organizer, and all went smooth. Thanks so much for the help!
