adding tbbp/hdt to outfit with outfit studio question.

not sure if this should go here, but the dedicated forum on nexus for this specific topic seems dead.

anyway, i've got an outfit (morrigan robes from DA:O) that i found, and i've found bodyslide conversions for it.  those conversions appear to work perfectly, but they do not include hdt physics so i've been trying to add them to the mod.  i've tried several different times with no success so i figured i'd ask here.

following the guide here

http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1284221-os-tutorial-copying-tbbp-or-similiar-weights/

didn't work at all.  i added the weights from the HDT body i use to the outfits (both 0 and 1 weight outfit .nif as suggested) but it had no HDT effect in game.

so i looked further into the topic and saw someone suggest using the .nif from the shapedata folder to do the conversions, made sense to me since thats the only way i can see that actually letting you bodyslide the outfit without erasing the hdt effects so i used .nif for my HDT body found in bodyslide/shapedata/SLFCvagina2.0 for the slider set and the cuirass .nif for the outfit found in bodyslide/shapedata/daomorrigandress for the working outfit source.  copy'd the bone weight over like i'm supposed to and i exported the .nif overwriting the original cuirass.

went into bodyslide thinking i had fixed the issue, but now breasts and other parts of body pop out at both low and high weight.  the body under the armor in bodyslide doesn't change weight even though i've got it set to the correct slider preset.  i'm guessing it saved the base body from the SLFCVagina2.0 to the cuirass but i though i'd be able to change the weight like anything else.

i'm really not sure what to do here, can anyone tell me what i've done wrong?

Step 13:
Go to "File -> Load Reference" and choose "CBBE Body"!l   <--- make this CBBE HDT Body

Spoiler

NOTE:
If you choose "CBBE Body", you will not be able to add (T)BBP/HDT to an outfit! In order to do this you will need to choose CBBE Body BBP, TBBP or HDT instead.

Step 14:
Double check clipping. If all good, then go to "Slider -> Conform All".

Spoiler

(Optional) Step 15:
For improved quality morphs, highlight sliders (pencil button) to edit the morph that is applied to the currently selected shape.
This is to release QUALITY work, but can be somewhat time consuming!

Spoiler

NOTE:
If you plan to make this conversion for yourself and not to be shared with others and you already have your own custom BodySlide preset,
a separate guide will be made to show you how to load your preset into Outfit Studio, so that you can fix clipping for just your body preset.

(Optional) Step 16:
Copying (T)BPP/HDT or other bone weights:
A. Click the "Bones" tab to the right.
B. Depending on what you're trying to add ((T)BBP/HDT), CTRL+Click the bones of the following you need:
NPC L Breast, NPC L Breast01, NPC L Butt, NPC R Breast, NPC R Breast01, NPC R Butt and/or NPC Belly.
C. Hit "Shape -> Copy Selected Weights".
D. Repeat step C for each shape of the mesh shown in the shapes tab (highlight them on the right-hand side).
