wabi-sabi Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Just what it says in the header. I spent 4 hours this morning creating a custom bodytype in bodyslide. I can change my CBBE HDT Body to my custom body type in game but the preset itself not available to me if I try to convert DD Assets for example. The tutorials available shows me how to import a nif file for a piece of clothing/armor and then import body type. This does not appear to be what I'm trying to learn. I guess I'm such a noob that I'm having difficulty understanding if whether the tutorials even apply to my efforts. If I go through the motions of converting an outfit into CBBE curvy, for example, and learning the tutorials, will this clue me in and teach me how to create a new body type? I don't want to waste the effort if it won't... Is this tree I'm barking up right now even the right tree?
Anatriax Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Open the previewMove sliders until you're happy Then To apply to a body/outfit, select the body or outfit in the top left drop down, and the preset you just created in the drop down below it. Then click the "morph" check box, and then "build".Tada!
Torcha09 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Hey man, I gotchu. See, when you save a preset, it gives you a box where you have to check which outfit sets you want it to applicable to. This is for organizational reasons Ibelieve, so that you don't try to use a preset for a huge fat lady body on an outfit where the mod author was only expecting you to make skinny women, and thus having a large bodied preset would break the outfit essentially(clipping EVERYWHERE LOL). So, I have your solution. You need to open up the preset where you can get it, so go to the "CBBE HDT Body" for the Outfit, find your custom preset you're talking about, it'll pull up all the sliders and everything you saved, so that'll be good. Don't adjust any sliders unless you want to adjust that preset again. THEN press "Save Preset" or something along those lines, and it will again give you a box where you need to check all the outfit sets that the preset will work on. You will always have to re-save your preset like this whenever you download and install new outfits. If you don't, your preset won't work for them. REMEMBER, you have to go in and find the boxes that aren't checked and MANUALLY check them yourself. There is no easier way which I'm aware of. It isn't terribly difficult, but if you're adding a bunch of outfits at a time, I'd recommend installing all the ones you want and then re-saving the preset, that way you don't do it like 20 times lol. Tl;dr go to save preset again and check moar boxes. Hope this helps!!! Also, you need to make sure that you got the bodyslide files for an armor in order to be able to actually see it in there. Otherwise, you're gonna get whatever bodytype the author gave you. Make sure it says Bodyslide and not just CBBE. Cbbe Bodyslide is what ya want to see. I know there are at least a couple Bodyslide files for DD around here.

The "easier" way that you're not aware of, are my directions posted above you. It's simple. Easy to follow, and even has a picture EDIT: To select all boxes in a list of options do the following ( Right Click > Select All) You don't HAVE to apply the preset to an outfit. It should be in the drop down of presets, as long as you have the bodyslide files for the outfit. If you have further questions, check my guide. It has links to all files you'll need to make your own body, and some tutorials on how to convert Armors to different bodies.

Easy to follow, and even has a picture Hmm, perhaps I have a different version or different armors work differently or something, or that Morph checkbox does something nice, because the problem I see him having is the one I had a while back where I'd click on the dropdown menu for presets and my preset wouldn't be there because I hadn't saved it again and approved its use on that outfit...I dunno. I'd have to pull it all back out and try it out to see if that morph checkbox fixes the issue I'm talking about, but your directions suggest the preset should already be in the dropdown lol. So the picture doesn't really help me...I dunno, I've been away from Skyrim bout a half year so I can't be sure. No matter the case, he now has to solutions to try, so I think we covered the bases pretty well.
Anatriax Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Ok so I just dug through bodyslide, and created a new preset for myself, and applied it to all of my outfits.1) Create preset 2) Save preset 2a) OPTIONAL: Check all boxes in the following pop up (This ensures that the preset is available for the outfit SET, not each individual outfit, as a lot are packaged) 3) Select Preset FIRST 4) Select outfit 5) Click morph box6) Open BATCH BUILD (bottom left corner) 7) Right click > Select All 8) Build 9) Wait 10) Build CBBE HDT Body WITH PRESET 11) Close Bodyslide 12) Open game and see your results
