ENB-related Issues

I recently started to use an ENB. I've been making adjustments over the last week or two, but haven't been able to get decent AA working. I enbled 3 of the 4 methods that come with the ENB (all but temporal), and I still had bad aliasing. I then downloaded SMAA and activated that as a proxy dll. I finally discovered that I did not have NegativeLODBias set to "clamp" in the nVidia Control panel. Once I did that, most of the bad aliasing was gone, yet some still remained. The worst case is on those floating glowing mushrooms in Blackreach. The spindly legs are very, very jagged, even with SMAA set to high and the other 3 AA types active also. In addition, clamping NegativeLODBias has resulted in some obvious texture blurring at a short distance. Is there some combination of settings that works well? I've seen some ENB images, and they look very smooth without as much blurring.

Also, after messing with settings in SkyrimPrefs to try to optimize shadows for the ENB, I'm seeing that lighting issue where the light intensity (not the source but the illumination of nearby objects) switches on and off as you move the camera through different angles. I've had the problem appear and disappear several times over the years, but I've never known what causes it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
