Is it possible to assign underwear (on accessory slot) to all npcs and characters in game?

 

With this way when you're looting a dead body, you'd have an option to not see a bandit's boner if you want to take his armor..

or just use the male mod with the underwear

While lefty has a point I belive it would be nicer to have the undies automatically added by a script the moment all the armor is removed.

This way there could be random underwear on them while not using a standard body + it would not be shown in the item list until you loot again - so you have the option to still see them naked...

Honestly, I think it should be possible,it was done in FO:NV, however that doesn't mean someone will do it :/

I see Several ways to do this

 

1. You can download a body without underwear. Advantage: easy, Disadvantage: No pron

 

2. You can do a "Player Character is Different" mod, where you set up Your PC races to be a different body type than the npc's. Advantage, only a little bit more difficult than #1 Disadvantage: only you can get naked.

 

3. Add Underwear Script from Above. Advantage: Highly customizable. Disadvantage: requires knowledge of Scripting.

 

4. Add Underwear to the Leveled Lists for all NPC's. Advantage: Highly Customizable, needs no knowledge of scripting, and occasionally you run across the person who doesn't wear Underwear (for realism). Disadvantage: Editing Every NPC is Time Consuming, and requires it's own "Underwear Slot/Slots (Bra and panties? or Corset with Thigh-high Stockings and Garter? )"

 

There are probably other ways to do this, but personally, I like #4 It does the Randomness, and it adds the slot to be used with some of the Skimpier Armors to make them less... X-rated?. (and it may add... Enchatability??(and maybe some enchanted underwear?))

 

However #4 is also the biggest Pain in the Butt to do, needing Underwear Models, and editing Every Character In The Game.

 

If you really wanted to get crazy, you could make it CHSBHC Compatible and add a script to some Underwear that when worn it "Supports and Uplifts" through a skeletal animation addition.

I like #4 also. I like the idea of NPCs wearing different varieties seeing as more better underwear mods are coming out.
