Skyrim ENB Help - Evil Naggy Bish

Hello, Good day, and Salutations my beloved LL Community....

I come to you at more or less my wits end regarding ENBs.

Ill go through my issue here, and then maybe, hopefully, someone here can be a saint, or a sinner, depending on what turns you on.

Im trying to get an ENB to work, really any ENB, and to an extent they do.

I own an MSI GT60 2PC Dominator gaming laptop, it has a dedicated GTX 870m graphics card, and an integrated intel thing. Quite obviously it uses Optimus to switch between the two, and quite apparently ENB does not enjoy this.

Using an ENB, the detected card always reads the Intel chip, even though i can see that its infact using my Nvidia. The ENB seems to work, for the most part, except for anything to do with DoF, volumetric lighting etc.

I have tried multiple ENB Binaries (.221 .262 .272 and .277 respectively) and several presets (Realvision, Project ENB, Seasons of Skyrim, TruVision, Unbleak) however, DoF has never worked, and my lighting definitely isnt -right-.

I have used the Wrapper alone, the Wrapper with the Optimus fix d3d9, and even the Injector, on all above binaries.... I have tried using ForceFakeVideoCard in enb settings, and without.... I have ensured that all Antistropic and AA is off on my Nvidia control panel, both globally and for TESV.exe.... I have ensured that the bFloatPoint values in Skyrimprefs.ini have been set to 1 (both of them) and ensured that the changes have effected my Mod Organizer profile's ini's not just the base ini's in My Docs.... On top of that, I have tried the exact same load out, and setting system, on an Asus RoG laptop with a GTX 970M.... and depth of field works fine.

If anyone, and I mean anyone has any idea how this can be resolved, I would love to hear from you. For now I have dropped back to not using an ENB, i get much better quality lighting and shadows that way.....

Thank you in advance,

Shades

The Speed and Stability Guide on Nexus has fixes for Optimus technology. Check out that guide :)

Will do Ana. By the way, I adore your guide, its what i used for this latest install, and by far the most well explained "steps" guide i have come across.

Thank you :) I appreciate all feedback on my guide, especially the praises :) I put a lot of time into making sure it was understandable and usable by the general public :)
