Dreamer102 Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 one (of MANY) of mine: When I turned 18, my uncle offers me a 1970 ford Mustang in perfect condition and baby blue (Uncle was a mechanic and car afficionado). My response: "What do I need a car for? I live in NY, if I need to get anywhere I can skate or take the bus or subway". :-[ My uncle just looked at me with a confused look and shrugged his shoulders and said "oooookay". I have regretted that foolish day since the day after it happened when he gave the car to a cousin of mine. From what I hear, the car is still running to this day and I've been through 2 cars (crappy Pontiac Sunbirds) and own none right now. :-[ :cry:

I was about to enter the big bad world of work and my art teacher had set me up with the chance of training as a silver smith. My father said "you don't want to do that! I've got you set up with an interview with the Federation of Master Printers. Go learn a trade in printing. You'll make loads of money and have a safe job for life." I did as he said and he was so very wrong on all counts.... 2. My first marriage ... ... and I'm uncertain which was the bigger error.

Ryanhabs Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Biggest life mistake... getting married at 20yrs old. On the same note I was divorcing her before I hit 21 so it all worked out. If I ever decide to get married a 2nd time (highly unlikely), I'll post that marrage as my 2nd bigget mistake. LOL! ;D

If I ever get out I'll eat my own fingers before I went back in again.
